It’s been a good week. Today my Friend Dawn and I went shopping -s he wanted to go to Fashion bug, I went – telling her as we walked into the store that they wouldn’t have anything to fit me. Shortly after we walked in Dawn was holding up shirts that she said would fit me… I looked at the size and said no way, Dawn convinced me to try them on… to my total shock they fit, and I left Fashion Bug with 3 tops. We then went to Wal-Mart and I bought a dress and top there.
My bathing suits that used to be tight are now so loose I fall out of them. Soon I will have to just clear my closets and start over.
It’s all good.

This journey is getting more and more fun…

Finally I am seeing a difference

Finally I am seeing a difference- The photo of my boss, co-worker and I goofing around in New Orleans was me at me heaviest, the one of me alone with the sunburn was just taken Sunday. I see a big difference finally in my face.... yeah I know you all have been telling me for a while- but NOW I see it.

The first photo I spoke with was taken while on a business trip to New Orleans - it was hot and sticky and OH so humid and I really thought I was going to keel over that trip, I need a cane to walk. These days I can frequently be found dancing around my office to Elliott John, Donny Osmond, Queen, or even Neal Diamond.

Boy life is good.

Hang on the journey is getting into high gear.

This coming week is going to be hectic – as our front desk Assistant is off so I have her job to do too. It’s all good – life is awesome- I love that I have all this energy and do all this things.

I am blessed to have a wonderful family, amazing friends and am living a life I love.

Life is good – the journey is so much fun.

The Reason

My boss and I were talking over lunch today , during that conversation we started talking about the why of what I was doing. I explain to him that after many many years of feeling like I had no worth at all- I finally got it that I have value, I have a worth.

I explained that I have 2 huge fears in life- #1 being alone the rest of my life, and # 2 ending up like my late husband Edward.

You see Edward was a wonderful man- I loved him very much and he loved me too. Edward was severely morbidly obese, diabetic, had 3 heart conditions and suffered from bipolar disorder. During the course of the 20 and 1/2 years we were married he got sicker and sicker, 7 years before he died he got gangrene in his groin and had to have several major surgeries, nearly died, and spent a month in shock trauma, after that he could only move about in a wheel chair. He spend the last 3 and 1/2 years of his life bedridden, unable to do anything for himself.
I never want to live like that.

For many reasons that I can not find the words for when my Fabulous Coach offered his assistants - I took it and embraced it.

The last 9 months have been about me working on me- in more then just the weight loss. Its about me learning to be confident, calm and secure in my own being.

Pretty amazing Journey for this worhtless girl who knows nothing.

Embrace the journey and enjoy it.
